PT Biz: What It Is, Who It Fits, What It Costs

Short answer

PT Biz is a coaching company for cash-based physical therapy owners. Its Gym PT Blueprint is the entry program for owners starting out. Its 12-month PT Biz Mastermind is for established owners building toward a $500K+ practice. Mastermind pricing is covered during the application and discovery call, not on the website. (Checked October 2026 against PT Biz's own pages.)

Clinic MarketingOS also coaches clinic owners, on marketing only. This profile describes PT Biz from its own public pages; we have not been members.

What is PT Biz?

PT Biz (Physical Therapy Biz) coaches physical therapy entrepreneurs, from owners who are "brand new to business" to "a fully established player with staff," according to its home page. It organizes its programs as levels: the Gym PT Blueprint is Level One for beginners, and the PT Biz Mastermind is Level Three for owners aiming at a "highly profitable 500K+ revenue practice." The home page describes a community of 3,000+ entrepreneurs. PT Biz also produces The P.T. Entrepreneur Podcast, which its Mastermind page names in its media section.

Who runs it?

PT Biz was founded by Danny Matta, a physical therapist who co-owns Athletes' Potential. According to the About page, he grew it to a team of six and has "personally helped over 200 cash PTs start practices all over the world." The founding team also includes Yves Gege, who owns Made 2 Move Physical Therapy in Charleston, SC and moved it from in-network to cash-based across multiple locations, and Jerred Moon, who owns End of Three Fitness and is a former Air Force pilot. The Mastermind page also lists advisors who lead the monthly sales, hiring and management, and marketing calls, including senior advisor John Licata.

What does the Mastermind include?

According to the Mastermind page, the program runs 12 months and covers four areas of the business: sales, marketing, processes and people.

ComponentWhat PT Biz lists
Length12 months
OnboardingBusiness evaluation, KPI breakdown, goal setting
Coaching accessOne-on-one access to coaches and founders; daily messaging through Circle
Group callsMonthly small-group accountability calls; monthly revenue-based group coaching
Expert callsMonthly calls on finance, leadership, hiring and management, sales and marketing
EventsTwo 2-day in-person events and two 1-day virtual events
CoursesDigital courses, including updates, for the length of membership
CommunityCircle community and a private Facebook group

PT Biz describes its commitment to members this way: "You are 100% guaranteed to succeed IF you do the work and reach out for help when you get stuck."

Who is it a good fit for?

  • The Mastermind fits cash-based PT owners who already have traction, often with staff or about to hire, and want help across the whole business rather than one channel. PT Biz sets Level 3 criteria and a $500K+ practice goal. It also says meeting the numbers doesn't guarantee a place, because the interview weighs fit too.
  • The Gym PT Blueprint is PT Biz's own starting point for owners who are opening or in their first stage.
  • PT Biz's language centers on what it calls "cash-based performance PTs," so owners who treat active adults and athletes will hear the most familiar examples.

How does pricing work?

PT Biz doesn't list program prices on its site. The Mastermind page sets out the steps: apply (free), discovery call, a one-hour onboarding call, then the program starts. Pricing is covered during that process.

What to ask before joining

These questions are worth asking of any coaching program, PT Biz included:

  1. What is the total investment for 12 months, and what payment options are there?
  2. Which level fits my clinic right now, and why?
  3. What are the cancellation and refund terms? Can I have them in writing?
  4. What are the event dates in my 12 months, and what travel should I budget for?
  5. Can I talk with two members whose clinic looks like mine?
  6. How many hours a week do members usually put into the program?

A good free way to check fit first is to listen to a few episodes of The P.T. Entrepreneur Podcast on the problem you're working on now.

Owners comparing PT business coaching often also look at Jarod Carter's Cash-Based Practice Mastermind, Aaron LeBauer's CashPT programs, Paul Gough's New Patient Accelerator and Greg Todd's Smart Success. Our PT coach comparison lists each one's published terms. If your main gap is marketing (ads, offer and booking), Clinic MarketingOS coaches that one area inside your own accounts. Pricing is on The Show.
