PT Biz Review: Mastermind Cost, Programs and Who It Fits

Short answer

PT Biz does not publish the price of its Mastermind, a 12-month coaching program for cash-based performance PTs aiming at a $500K+ practice. You apply, take a discovery call and are evaluated before any price is discussed, checked October 2026.

PT Biz is a coaching company built for cash-based physical therapy, especially for what it calls cash-based performance PTs. Owners usually want its price before they apply, and the honest answer is that it is not published. This review uses only what PT Biz says on its own pages, opened in October 2026. We have not been members and we do not report member results we cannot check. Clinic MarketingOS sells coaching too, so where we compare, we say so.

What is PT Biz?

PT Biz, short for Physical Therapy Biz, is a coaching company for cash-based physical therapy entrepreneurs, with a special focus on what it calls cash-based performance PTs. Its Mastermind page says it coaches four areas of the business: sales, marketing, processes and people (PT Biz Mastermind). Its home page lays out a level structure: the Gym PT Blueprint as Level One for beginners and the PT Biz Mastermind as Level Three for owners aiming at a $500K+ practice (PT Biz home). It also runs an online learning platform, a member community that the site says has more than 3,000 entrepreneurs, Q&A calls and live events. A mastermind is a coaching program built around a small peer group that meets regularly, often with in-person events, alongside coaches.

Who runs PT Biz?

PT Biz is led by Danny Matta, whom the Mastermind page describes as a physical therapist, entrepreneur and the company's founder, with a team of coaches and advisors. The same page names Yves Gege, who focuses on local marketing, relationship development and team building; Jerred Moon, a coach, author and veteran who leads monthly leadership calls; John Licata, a senior advisor who leads hiring and management calls; and advisors who run monthly sales and marketing calls. The about page adds that Danny started Athletes' Potential and has personally helped over 200 cash PTs start practices, that Yves owns Made 2 Move Physical Therapy in Charleston, South Carolina, and that Jerred owns End of Three Fitness and is a former Air Force pilot (PT Biz about). Those are the company's own descriptions.

What does the PT Biz Mastermind include?

The PT Biz Mastermind includes 12 months of coaching with onboarding, one-on-one access to coaches, monthly group and expert calls, two in-person events and two virtual events. The Mastermind page lists the components below (PT Biz Mastermind). It is a broad business program, not a marketing service: finance, leadership, hiring and management get their own monthly calls alongside sales and marketing. The onboarding includes a business evaluation, a KPI breakdown, annual and quarterly goals and a cash flow system. That breadth is the main thing you are buying. If your only problem is new patient flow, you would be paying for a lot of program you may not use yet; if your problems are spread across team, money and systems, the breadth is the point.

How much does PT Biz cost?

PT Biz does not publish the price of its Mastermind or, as far as we could confirm, its other programs. The Mastermind page describes the process: apply for free, take a discovery call, complete an hour-long onboarding call, start the program, then implement (PT Biz Mastermind). Price comes up in that process, not on the page. We tried to open the Gym PT Blueprint product page in October 2026 and it would not load, so we have no confirmed price for it either. We are not going to repeat numbers from forums or second-hand reports. For a sense of what comparable published programs cost, the CashPT Platinum Mastermind lists $27,600 for 15 months and Paul Gough's Best Year Mastermind lists $12,900; see the full table on our coaching cost hub.

Who is PT Biz built for?

PT Biz is built for cash-based physical therapists, and its Mastermind specifically for owners who meet its Level 3 criteria and are aiming at a $500K+ practice. The Mastermind page says meeting the quantitative criteria does not guarantee admission, because interviews also weigh qualitative fit, and it describes members as "successful but humble, experienced but open-minded, and ambitious but ethical" (PT Biz Mastermind). The entry program is even named the Gym PT Blueprint. In plain terms: if you are a cash PT working with active adults and athletes, past the startup phase, with staff or about to hire, you are who PT Biz is talking to. If you are pre-launch, the Gym PT Blueprint is the company's own entry point.

What is the PT Biz podcast?

The PT Biz podcast is the P.T. Entrepreneur Podcast, which the Mastermind page names in its media section. We could not open the dedicated podcast page in October 2026, so we cannot confirm the episode count or current host lineup from PT Biz's own site. For an owner deciding whether to apply, the podcast is the best free due-diligence tool PT Biz offers: you can hear how the coaches think about sales, hiring and marketing before you ever take a call. Listen to five or six episodes on the problem you are trying to solve right now. If the advice fits how you want to run your clinic, the paid program likely will too. If it does not, you have saved yourself a discovery call.

What should you consider before applying to PT Biz?

Before applying to PT Biz, consider the price you have not yet seen, the 12-month length, and how much of a broad business program you will actually use this year. Get the full price, the payment terms, the cancellation terms and the refund policy in writing after the discovery call. The Mastermind page says members are "100% guaranteed to succeed IF you do the work and reach out for help when you get stuck," which is a statement about effort, not a refund term, and the page we opened does not state a refund policy. Note too that the events listed on the page we saw were dated 2024 and 2025, so ask for the current event calendar. Then ask to speak with two members at your revenue level whom you choose.

Our takePT Biz is a broad program for a specific kind of PT. If you match that profile, the breadth is a strength. Just put the full 12-month cost through the break-even math before you sign, the same as you would with anyone.

How does PT Biz compare with other PT coaching programs?

PT Biz compares as a broad, application-only, 12-month program, where most published alternatives are either cheaper and narrower or similarly priced and event-heavy. Jarod Carter's group membership is $47 to $247 a month and centers on weekly Q&A. Paul Gough's New Patient Accelerator is $3,800 and centers on marketing. Greg Todd's Platinum Mastermind is $500 a month, month to month. Aaron LeBauer's CashPT Platinum is $27,600 for 15 months with three in-person weekends a year. Clinic MarketingOS is $1,500 for the first three months and covers only marketing: offer, ads, booking and owning your accounts. If you need hiring, finance and leadership help, PT Biz covers ground we do not. Our PT coach comparison has the full table.

Is PT Biz worth it?

Whether PT Biz is worth it depends on the price you are quoted, your plan of care value, and whether you will use its breadth in the next 12 months. Run the math: divide the quoted 12-month cost by your average plan value, then by your margin, to get the number of extra new patients or the profit improvement it must produce. Our break-even table shows this for published programs. PT owner Morgan Meese, writing about her own $60,000 to $80,000 of coaching spend, said fit matters more than price and that a program built for a business two stages from yours is a red flag (Morgan Meese). That applies here: PT Biz is designed for a specific stage, so check you are at it.
